The Big Ones
New Employee - The Mycologist
A member of the first expedition to New Atlas after the fungal outbreak, the Mycologist has been trapped planet-side (moon-side??) for over a year. This has made her… a little strange.
We’ve been working on the Mycologist for quite a while and we think you’ll have a lot of fun with her set of upgrades and her abilities: Sporelift and Fungal Skewer. Plus, a passive infection ability… But first, you’ll have to rescue her in Expedition Alpha.

Mission - Population Control
A new normal mission! Clear out areas of high enemy density, and maybe tussle with a couple Abominations.

Mini Special Assignment - The Couch
Help Roachard find the perfect fit and rescue a couch for the HUB.
Also you now can sit in some chairs.

Weapon - The Diffraction Driver
An ion scattergun that fires in a short-range cone. You can spin up its halo to make the cone smaller and longer. This weapon can be unlocked with some resources after you reach level 10.

Snowball Grenade
A cryo grenade! The Snowball is unlocked from X11-B.

X11-B
A new region on New Atlas’ moonlet. X11-B’s difficult missions will test your best loadouts.

Hats
You can wear hats. On your head. Most hats come from the new Fulfillments!

Fulfillments
An in-game achievement system for tracking your mastery and watching a big number go up. Many Fulfillments reward cosmetics.
Some Fulfillments are retroactive and some aren’t, depending on which stats we were already tracking.

Sit Emotes
Each employee has a default sit emote! Time to plant yer ass and watch your friends do the mission.

HUB Rework
It’s cool. Just check it out for yourself.
Daily Lottery Larry tokens must be wrestled from the cold hands of Golden Bruce.

Drop Pod Redesign
The drop pod has a new design! Your old skins have been ported to the new model.

The Other Ones
Mission Failure
If no one successfully gets in the Drop Pod, the mission is failed.

Infusion Effectiveness
Upgrade effectiveness is affected by how much its pattern size has changed. Infusing a smaller pattern into an upgrade will reduce the effectiveness of most of its stats, while infusing a larger pattern will improve its stats!
Weapons
G6 Streetsweeper
- Increased damage by 40%
- Increased the range at which damage begins to decrease by 4m
A16 Beam Ripper
- Increased damage by 40%
Laser Cannon
- Increased damage by 20%
- Reduced recoil
The Last Argument
- Increased damage by 40%
Shocklance
- Increased base damage by 50%
- Damage decreases by an additional 11% for each pierced target
- Our aim with this change is to move more of the Shocklance’s damage to the first few targets hit by its coil and make it a bit more useful against single targets. Hitting 9 targets will deal roughly the same total damage as before. Hitting fewer than 9 will deal more damage than before, and hitting more than 9 deals less damage than before.
